Pretexting is one of the common ways to commit an identity theft crime. It means impersonating another person such that making calls under the pretext being that person. It is generally used for gaining the personal information mainly telephone records. A pretexting is very hard for a victim to detect.
Credit card fraud is no joke, but it is preventable. It is certainly not enough on you part to simply ignore the problem and hope that it does not happen to you. It is very much crucial to brace yourself from the possible dangers of credit card fraud before it’s too late.
